On the weekend of 28 February and 1 March we had services for the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy.  Reading the Apostol for us on Sunday was Reader Christopher Dowling, visiting the Central Coast from Canberra.  At the end of Divine Liturgy the service of intercession “For the conversion of those in error” was served, it being the custom of the Russian Orthodox Church to do so on the Sunday of the Triumph of Orthodoxy.  A collection was then taken up to benefit the Holy Trinity Orthodox Seminary in Jordanville, New York, the main seminary of our Russian Orthodox Church outside Russia.
